Dear Medicare Eligible Retiree and/or Dependent,
We are pleased to let you know Columbia County is making your health care coverage even better! Effective, September 1, 2024, Columbia County will offer its Medicare eligible retirees the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Preferred (PPO) Medical with Prescription Drug plan Senior Rx Plus.
Your current health and prescription drug plan will be ending 8/31/2024.
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Preferred (PPO) Medical with Prescription Drug plan Senior Rx Plus will be the
only plan available to Columbia County Medicare eligible retirees.
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield will mail a Medicare Advantage Enrollment Guide to all Columbia County Medicare eligible retirees. The Guide will describe in detail the new medical and prescription drug plan. Please review this information carefully. We have also attached this information below for easy access. Should you have any questions about your new coverage you can call the First Impressions Center at Anthem at 1-833-848-8729.
