The Columbia County Wellness Committee exists to increase Columbia County Employees knowledge, attitudes and behaviors surrounding health and wellness. Their mission is to offer County Employees wellness education and create healthier work environments along with encouragement through programmatic efforts.  

The Wellness Committee, comprised of County employees who volunteer their time, meets at least six times a year to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the Columbia County Employee Wellness Program. Members of the committee are expected to participate in planning and assisting in events and programs and help in planning the budget for the committee. Programs include the Wellness Reward Program and the  Stall Seat Journal.

The Healthy Columbia Wellness Reward Program is an opportunity for County employees to earn reward dollars by participating in a variety of wellness activities that encourage physical and emotional well-being.

Columbia County is committed to assisting staff with maintaining a healthy lifestyle by awarding reward dollars for each activity or program that qualifies under our Wellness Reward Point System.
